It integrates the steering-wheel-integrated airbag, the smart seat belt and a multi-dimensional airbag matrix into a closed protection loop covering collision anticipation and every stage of a crash event.
On the active side, the vehicle's perception system anticipates collision risk and triggers seat-belt pretensioning and occupant posture correction in advance. On the passive side, millisecond-level control algorithms coordinate the airbags, seat belts and the energy-absorbing structure of the steering wheel to minimize the risk of secondary injury, meeting Chinese national standards and the world's leading safety rating protocols.

Airbag System
- Adopts an SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) architecture with multi-stage inflators and adaptive venting. Inflation pressure and deployment shape adjust dynamically to crash severity, occupant size and seating posture, delivering staged cushioning protection and preventing occupant crush injuries caused by over-inflation.
- The steering-wheel-integrated driver front airbag (DAB) uses high-tear-strength specialty nylon fabric with a snap-in modular mounting structure as standard, adapting platform-style to multiple vehicle steering systems. It inflates and deploys within 0.03 s of crash trigger; working in conjunction with the seat belt, it reduces driver head and facial injury rates by more than 80%.
- An expandable, full-dimensional airbag matrix covers driver frontal, passenger frontal, side and head-curtain protection, forming a ring-shaped occupant restraint space that effectively disperses crash impact and prevents direct contact between the body and hard vehicle structures.
Seat Belt Restraint System
- Equipped with a pretensioner and load-limiter three-point seat belt assembly that integrates a pyrotechnic pretensioner and a progressive load limiter: in the pre-crash phase the webbing is actively pretensioned to hold the occupant in the seat's optimal protection position; at the crash peak, controlled webbing payout absorbs impact energy, balancing restraint force against chest-load thresholds for restraint that is both reliable and occupant-friendly.
- The webbing is precision-woven from high-tenacity polyester fiber and paired with a high-precision retractor and a self-locking buckle mechanism, meeting the mandatory GB 14166 national standard and Euro NCAP five-star requirements. It accommodates occupants of different heights and weights, combining everyday driving convenience with crash-condition protection performance.
Steering Wheel Restraint Integration System
- Features an integrated safety steering wheel design that deeply integrates the driver airbag module, the steering control mechanism and the energy-absorbing steering-column interface — preserving steering precision and grip feel while reserving compliant airbag deployment space and crash-collapse travel.
- The steering wheel frame is made of a high-strength lightweight alloy with an ergonomic rim design that fits the natural hand grip in everyday driving. In a crash, it works with the airbag to trigger steering-column collapse and energy absorption, further dissipating frontal impact force and reducing the risk of driver chest compression.
